Captol Punishment were from Fresno, California and were one of nearly four dozen Northern California and Nevada bands featured on the Faulty Products distributed Alternative Tentacles LP, NOT SO QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT. The band consisted of Eric Tsuda (vocals), Keith Johnson (drums), Dale Stewart (guitar) and Joceylin Fedrau (bass).

Capitol Punishment put out five LPs between 1985 and 1995, WHEN PUTSH COMES TO SHOVE (1985), SLUM WITH A VIEW (1986), BULWARKS AGAINST OPPRESSION (1989), MESSIAH COMPLEX (1993) and THREE CHORD PILE-UP (1995). Eric & Keith left in 1982, replaced by a succession of other voclaists and drummers in the ensuing decade. Jocelyn and Dale still play together. Dale runs an amazing Central Caifornia punk website -- link to it below in the "Cool Links" section!

"El Salvador" on Side one, cut seven.
Unfortunately at the present time we found practically no links to websites pertaining to CAPITOL PUNISHMENT, nor is
there any fan club info. However the latest alternative and punk music around can be found at the
Alternative Tentacles website. Check it out!
