| Turned on ESPN and saw a horse race - turns out it was the Breeder's Cup -- and saw that Jerry Moss owned a horse in the race, Zenyatta. Horse came from behind for an amazing win...now, any guesses on what Zenyatta means? |

It's from the Police album Zenyatta Mondatta. This is the fourth horse that Jerry Moss has that has something to do with Sting. The first was Giacomo, who won the Kentucky Derby at 50-1 odds in 2005. Giacomo is Sting's son. Then he had Styler, which was Sting's wife Trudy's maiden name. Then he had Set Them Free, a huge hit for Sting. And now Zenyatta is here. He's been making a pretty good buck with this system.

well done!
How about some suggestions for new Sting-based names for Mr Moss? My suggestions: 1) Lazarus heart; 2) Be Still My Beating Heart; 3) Brand New Day; 4) Hounds of Winter |

I don't think that would be a good name for a horse. It's bad luck to have a name like that. The horse could drop dead with that name!
Shadows In The Rain might be a good name, or maybe Invisible Sun.

How about "Blue Turtle"??? The name (from Sting's debut solo LP) may sound like a slow horse, but the irony would be it being the big winner....

What a horse! Fifteen straight wins! The Breeder's Cup race was against the boys and the best horse was a girl!! Zenyatta is a fantastic filly with an awesome jockey, Mike Smith. Congratulations to Jerry and Ann Moss on their victory! This horse will be the dam of some awesome thoroughbreds in the not too distant future. In about four years, the twin spires of Churchill Downs will shadow the owners' boxes for the Kentucky Derby race and the Moss family willl be there to watch Zenyatta's "baby" run for the roses. Like iits dam, it will be one fantastic horse!!!!!
