I thought it might be nice to contribute some scans of Carpenters promo materials I've accumulated over the years. There's some rare stuff here, and obviously this is the best audience for these memories. :)

Hope you enjoy! Bob

Anxiously awaiting these -- not to mention, that VHS to DVD conversion of interview with Carpenters about Jim Croce!

Well, once again, I'm having a problem with scans being sent to A&M Corner. I know the photos have to be saved in the Cloud before The Corner will accept anything. I've got a LOT to share, but the attachments don't work! I know it needs to be configured to URL first. If any of you know of a quick fix for sharing scans, I'm all ears. I'm beyond frustrated.

Lastly, I haven't forgotten about the Croce clip. I've been slammed with work lately, but I promise I'll get to it. :)

Your cloud image will have a URL. It's usually something like:

http://www.cloudimages.com/usernameHere/pictureName.jpg

You copy that URL into your computer's memory (usually a right-click and copy).

Use paste, to put that here on the Corner, but enclose it within IMG tags. So it should look like this: (Note that the imaged tags below have extra spaces in them. Those spaces should not be there. It's just left square bracket then IMG then right square bracket. The close-image tag has a slash before the IMG, but again, no spaces. The spaces are included in the example so that the software doesn't think it's actually an IMG tag.)

[ IMG ]http://www.cloudimages.com/usernameHere/pictureName.jpg[ /IMG ]

You can also use the software's "Picture" icon, up there next to the smiley in the formatting row above the reply box. Click that, paste your picture's URL, and then [Insert], and the software will make the proper IMG tags around your URL.

maybe we should remove this thread til the kinks are worked out. I keep checking to see the scans.

I have a better way to present them. Give me ONE week, and we'll make it happen. Harry, you can delete until it's ready. Sorry about the delay.

Does this work?
