I'm very pleased to announce the creation of the official Julius Wechter & The Baja Marimba Band Facebook page. Julius' son, David, has given the Family's approval of the project.

At this point, we are still "under construction," but there is a lot to see. I'm adding material daily and hope to have this be the most complete and authoritative site about Julius.

And thanks to "our friend" Steve!

    Well done.

Hope you had a wonderful Holiday season.

This BMB FB page is great. Everybody of a Baja persuasion should check this out: Steve is adding new stuff every day--videos and data and images galore. You don't have to be a Facebook member to dig it.

If you haven't been to Facebook yet, I've added lots of photos and videos to the page and there is quite a bit now to check out.

Saw them play at the Akron Civic Theater in May, 1969.

As with all Herb Alpert creations, they were excellent. Their stage presentation was polished and the playing was the best you could want to hear.
