Herb soon 80!

Herb Alpert is soon 80 years old! How wonderful that he still has a great career, and plays wonderfully. I heard him at Patchogue Theater in Long Island last fall and he sounded as great as ever.
I was a bit surprised to find that one of Norway's finest jazz drummers, Torstein Ellingsen has put together a TJB tribute band "Green Peppers" to celebrate Herb's anniversary. I'll be there for sure.
