I finally listened to Bob Seger latest CD "Ride Out" (with 2 bonus tracks a Target Exclusive) which I bought Friday night at Target store. The song "Hey Gypsy" reminds me of the late Stevie Ray Vaughan song "Pride And Joy" (from 1983 "Texas Flood"). The song "California Stars" (written by the late Woody Guthrie along with Jeff Tweedy & Jay Bennett) almost reminds me of John Mellencamp song "Pink Houses" (from 1983 "Uh-Huh"). The song "You Take Me In" reminds me of country group Little Texas song "What Might Have Been" (from 1994). Country singer Vince Gill does background vocals on the song "Listen" on the deluxe edition. The song "Passin' Through" (Target Exclusive) (with a children's choir) is I think the swan song that if Bob Seger retires from music. I had to turn the sound down from 35.0 to 37.0 decibels on my headphones though. Four stars out of five!! Matt Clark Sanford, MI
